Ellis Annual Progressive Dinner Feb 8th E-mail

The Ellis South End Neighborhood Association will hold its 5th Annual Progressive Dinner on Monday, February 8th. It’s a marvelous way to meet new neighbors and sample gourmet offerings from our neighborhood restaurants—all at a very reasonable price. We'll meet at the Beehive (541 Tremont St) at 5:45 for a welcome reception and instructions. Participants will select two restaurants on a random basis so you will spend the evening with neighbors that you may not have had a chance to meet yet.

At 6:30, groups will walk to one of the participating South End restaurants for their first course. At about 7:30 you will change to the second restaurant on your list for your main course and a new group of eight neighbors. After the main course, we'll all reconvene at the Gaslight Restaurant for dessert and coffee and to discuss the evening. Several different restaurants are taking part including The Beehive, Aquitaine, The Buttery, Ginger Park, Masa, Metropolis, Rocca, Stephi's on Tremont, Union, and Gaslight. A glass of wine is offered with your meal at each venue. Our popular, optional night cap back at the Beehive will be held again for intrepid South End jazz fans.
