South End Fall Clean Up November 20, 2010

The Ellis Executive Committee and Board of Directors would like to thank all of you who participated in the Ellis Clean Up yesterday.  It was a beautiful day to tackle the garbage, grime and grit on the sidewalks and streets.

The clean up was a huge success because of your hard work and commitment to our neighborhood.  The Ellis would also like to thank Tabitha Bennett and the City of Boston for their support of this initiative as well as the supplies, trash pick up and street sweeper they provided.  The Ellis streets look amazing and it was a terrific start to the annual street sweeping that will begin April 1.  See photos

If you happened to miss the clean up, don't fret!  Boston Shines, the Citywide Neighborhood Clean Up & Community Service Volunteer Program, http://www.cityofboston.gov/ons/BostonShines/  will take place on on Saturday, April 24 from 9AM-1PM.  For more information, please contact Tabitha Bennett,  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
