Initiated Publicity Campaign June 2019; Acquired over 800 signatures and counting
Community Engagement
Focus - To engage the community in supporting and sustaining Crite Park
Status - Surveyed over 100 neighbors to identify preferences for park usage, design features, and solicit volunteers
Focus - To establish a “Friends of Crite Park” 501(c)(3) nonprofit to sustain the park
Status - Developed data base off over 900 names resulting from petitioning and other sources leading to charter membership in “Friends of Crite Park”
Fundraising
Focus - Raised $14,000 of $22,900 required for Pre-Construction costs including: the Existing Conditions Survey, PIC Permitting Assistance, Conceptual Landscape Design, and Public Meetings
