Festival Betances Procession - July 15th 6:00PM - Villa Victoria The Ellis supported our neighbor, Villa Victoria, again this year by marching in their celebratory Festival Betances Procession on Friday, July 15th. The Procession is New England's longest-running Latino cultural celebration and this year marked its 47th Anniversary: http://www.ibaboston.org/festival-betances. Ellis Evening 2016 The Ellis Evening, Ellis's annual fundraiser extravaganza, was held at Mistral on June 19th. Almost 100 people attended, conversation was lively and bidding on the silent auction was brisk and exciting. We were pleased to have given the Haley House a portion of the proceeds, after the contribution, we netted closed to $47,000 - our best effort yet! Kudos to us and to all of you who attended and contributed to such a great evening. |
