Ellis Rum Tasting
May 9 at 6:30pm
Location: Atelier Library - 505 Tremont Street
The Ellis South End Neighborhood Association is pleased to announce a tour of the Islands finest rums. Meet your neighbors at this fun evening exploring the “Nectar of the Caribbean” (and other tropical paradises) complemented with appropriate munchies (from our neighbors at Vejigantes) in the luxurious “Library” at Atelier 505. Who knew that rhum could be a profound libation deserving deep reflection and thoughtful contemplation? Emmett McDermott of LiquorLand fame will be helping us again, so you know it will definitely be a seriously good time. And yes, we’ll also have appropriate mixers and additives for those seeking creative concoctions. Prior Cocktail, Whisky (and Whiskey) tastings have been very popular, so sign up early and avoid the dreaded “wait list”. Come join your neighbors for a delightful evening—interesting people, classy rums, appropriate fare, good vibes and a chance to prepare for the oncoming summer in a lovely setting. (Sun dresses and Bermuda shorts optional. Limbo may be available for the limber.)
