STREET CLEANING AND SWEEPING
The City of Boston sweeps neighborhood streets on a regular schedule from March 1st to November 30th. Ellis street cleaning occurs every Wednesday on alternate sides of every street except Berkeley and Tremont Streets, which are swept every Monday. Street Sweeping days and times are clearly marked on each street with signs. Failure to move you car on street sweeping day will result in a ticket and your car may also be towed. This year, because of the unusual weather, street cleaning will start after there has been considerable snow melt. Watch for announcements.
