Trash and Recycling

Trash pick-up in the Ellis is every Tuesday and Friday. Trash should be placed on the curb no earlier than 5PM the evening prior to and no later than 7AM the day of pickup. Recycling in the Ellis is also on Tuesdays and Fridays.  Recycling can be placed in CLEAR trash bags – there is no longer a need to separate recyclable material. The City also provides recycling for paint, motor oil, and yard waste like leaves and clippings. For more information, call 617-635-4559.
