Holiday Wreath Hanging Volunteers Needed
ELLIS ANNUAL WREATH HANGING DAY
NOVEMBER 21st @ 9:00AM
It's time to decorate the Ellis for the holidays. The Ellis South End Neighborhood Association, along with Gibson Sotheby'sand 7-Eleven, are sponsoring the annual wreath decorating day. We will be hanging 425 wreaths in the neighborhood on Saturday, November 21st at 9:00AM and are looking for volunteers to join us!
We will provide you with the wreaths, bows and zip ties! All wreaths will be hung on the lamp posts at eye level. No ladder is involved. We just need YOU!
This is a great way to SAFELY spend time outside with your family or within your pod and we ask you to remain socially distant from anyone outside of your family unit while wearing masks. Volunteers throughout the Ellis will pitch in and we hope you will too by signing up below. This is a great event for all ages. Bring your family and tell your friends and neighbors. All are welcomed.
Join us for a cup of coffee, provided by Cósmica at 8:30AM on Berkeley Street in front of the Ben Franklin Institute of Technology before we start, or meet there at 9:00AM for your wreath hanging assignment and instruction!
This event will take place snow or shine so dress appropriately!
Please email us at info@ellisneighborhood.org with any questions.
The pandemic doesn't have to stop you from participating. Just be a little extra careful by practicing social distancing and wearing a mask and you can still enjoy our favorite holiday tradition!
